Some neotectonic characteristics of the Habana-Cienfuegos lineament zone of NW to E-W direction and its five knots are presented, on its spatial relation with two epicenters of recent earthquakes (16-12-1982 in Torriente-Jagüey Grande and 9-3-1995 in San José de las Lajas). Reflections about activity of the lineament zone and its knots as well as specialist criteria over its delineation appear in the work.
