Abstract

The Upper Cretaceous (Maastrichtian) outcrop of EIs Nerets (Tremp, Lleida) has yielded sorne sauropod bones: a fragment of centrum from a dorsal vertebra, an incomplete humerus, femur and tibia. This material is identified as Titanosauridae indet. based on the following synapomorphies: acuminate pleurocoelous posterior outline, cancellous osseus tissue, humeral prominent posterior supracondylar ridges, prominent fourth trochanter. Additional material from EIs Nerets includes three caudal centra identified as Iguanodontidae indet. The site of Sant Roma d' Abella, Upper Cretaceous (Maastrichtian) in age, is located at Della (Lleida). Fourteen caudal centra coming from this locality have been identified as Hadrosauridae indet., based on a single postulated synapomorphy, the hexagonal outline of the centra.
