A syntesis of the recent knowledges about detritic materials of the U.T.S.-3 in the Jucar Basin is established according to an exhaustive study of twenty-four lithostratigraphic columns. The petrography, granulometric distributions, statistical parameters of these materials is studied in detail. An analysis is also made of the morphology of the sedimentation environments. Lateral and vertical variations of these materials have been analysed. A transition from alluvial fan and lacustrine deposits can be observed.
