Abstract

The structural features of the precambrian and paleozoic sediments have been studied in the outcrops located to the NE o Calatayud, in the Iberian Range. The zone was affected by three deformation phases. The first gave rise to folds with a NW-SE orientation and a generalized cleavage. The second produced reverse faults and thrusts, homoaxial with the former structures. The third is characterized by folds WNW-NW and a crenulation cleavage. These deformation phases took place during the hercynian times.
