The homogeneous migmatites of the Ojén nappe (Western Alpujarrides, Malaga) are intensely mylonitized simultaneously to the tectonic emplacement of the Ronda peridotites. This plastic deformation is produced at high temperatures (~750ºC), according to the mineralogy, microstructures and quartz [e] axis diagrams of mylonites. Several quartz [c] axis diagrams are like those type II crossed-girdles (Lister y Williams, 1979). The geometry of these patterns and the presence of basal subboundaries (┴ [c]) optically perceptibles in XZ section, suggest that the intracrystalline [c] slip acts together with the classic <a> slip. This hypothesis allows a kinematic analysis of those patterns in terms of simple shear in according to the regional shear sense.
