Abstract

The outcrops of middle Bathonian and lower Callovian of the Sierra de los Cameros contains 4 rhynchonellids species with large morphologic variability. These species, one of which is new, are defined by both qualitative and quantitative analysis, Questions resulting ofvariability of external and internal features are discussed. The two bathonian species, Rhacthorhynchia cf. dumortieri(SZAJN.) and Globirhynchia pinillensis nov. sp., are close of north african forms whereas the callovian ones, Rhynchonelloidella spathica (LMK) and Septaliphoria mourdoni LAURIN, are still well known in the north-tethysian european realm. Their occurrence in Spain confirm their biostratigraphic interest.
