Some characteristics of the postcraneal skeleton of Lartetotherium sansaniensis are summarized in this paper, resulting form the comparative study of the Spanish remains of this of these species and those from the type locality, Sansan (France). We have established an evolutive process involving a general decrease of size without changing proportions and morphology. We have recognized L. sansaniensis in Can Mas and Buñol, which increases the stratigraphical and geographical distribution of this species.
