The compressive effects related to syn- late-magmatic deformation phases on granitic rocks from Lumbrales (W Salamanca) characterize chemically and mineralogically these rocks with a tendency that if sorne trace elements -Th, Ce, La, Zr...- generally the most inerts in these magma types, are not accounted for, coincides with that normal during magmatic diferentiation processes. Considering the mineral phases that produce such characterization, along with the regional petrogenetic features it is possible to explain the high K2O and Rb content in these granitoids, and the presence of a subfacies very rich in accesory minerals, specifically the group 11 of Oen I. Soen (1970) in this sector of the Iberian Hercynian foldbelt.
